I wanted to provide an outstanding review for VeilSun and Matthew Johnston, specifically. Matthew has been invested and thorough from our initial meeting until our final product and after. He has been accommodating of our changing needs and, at times, difficult asks; all of this with a large time difference to account for! His expertise shows in the work he has completed for us as well as the training documents he provided to help our team become self-efficient. We came to VeilSun with a shell of an idea of what we wanted to improve and the VeilSun team took that and developed something far beyond what we hoped. Thoroughly enjoyed working with the Veilsun team!
Ive been working with Ripley Myers since mid last year and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Veilsun team. The team is dedicated to taking on requests that I and the Pike operations team have regarding the management of our QB applications. With their support we are able to get QB issues resolved in a relatively quick manner. Ive also learned much from this team and have been able as a result to articulate my questions and concerns better over time so that we can get to the root of QB challenges and come to resolution a lot quicker. If any challenges have been presented it would only be that this is an outsourced team so sometimes there is a delay in response. Other than that my personal experience with the team has been outstanding thus far. Specifically Id like to call out Bob Cruickshank for the stellar notes he provided for importing timecard and expense data into QB. I recently took over this QB management from him and his notes and accompanying tutorial video were extremely helpful and detailed. Sven Bow was very instrumental in helping to resolve some issues I had with a customer where I needed the tasks to match to individual projects based on the state the work takes place. This had been something that I was trying to resolve on my own for close to a year and with a working session or two he was able to effectively resolve the issue I had been struggling with for so long. Ripley Myers is very helpful in gathering the information and having their team run down the issues. There have been multiple occasions where I had to reach out on a high priority issue and they have instrumental in gathering the data, assigning to their team and expediting a resolution.

We needed to add Quickbase functions to support a new faculty development service we wanted to provide the university. Through consultation with Michael we decided it would be best to do this by creating a new app. We are thrilled with the way that app has worked from the day it was implemented. We inherited a Quick Base environment over 2 years ago looking to establish a baseline for complex projects; while, handling the intricacies required when collaborating with more than a dozen companies. Shortly following, we began our work with Veilsun to assist us in enhancing our Quick Base environment. Veilsun is extremely experienced and opened the door to the endless potentials available when working with the right team. Taking existing business processes within our Company to automate aspects of inefficiencies, redundancies, and manual entry is still relatively new within our industry. Quick Base has proven to be a successful user interface for the various end users we have; this, compared to others tried previously. With that said, many times Ive found myself bringing ideas, questions, or requests to the Veilsun team and theyve been outstanding in helping me identify the best path forward. In addition, theyve helped with the heavy lifting required to push existing data into Quick Base and get everything going quickly. I work in QB daily and I cant tell you enough how much more effective and efficient I am a processing information and saving training data for our Instructors. I do the Professional Development and record all of the training qualification in QB which is simple because the application is super easy to use. Ben Larrabee and Airstreams Rick Gould worked together to develop our QB application, but Ben has done a great job of teaching me how to better use it. Ben is always available for assistance and is very good at helping me understand or learn something new. I am not a computer type of person but have learned to do what I need to do to get the job done but Ben is super patient and helps along the way. Kudos to VeilSun!
My Company has been using Quick Base for about 3 years, after a short time we realized it could do much more than we had originally thought. We are a very large Commercial and Residential Roofing, HVAC, and Mechanical company. We needed an application that would assist our Project Managers to understand the flow of managing a project and all of the policies and procedures that needed to be done in order to be a successful Manager. A lot of pre-planning meetings were held with Veilsun to review our Company and our expectations. I was happily surprised at how quickly Dan Lander and Mike Garcia were able to pick up on our specific industry. I have only one thing to say VeilSun is fantastic! We have being working with them for a couple of months in a huge project related to the implementation of the accounting standard IFRS16. During the project they have been guiding us to the process of building an app to gather and review about 10,000 assets scoped in for the project. The process involved more than 70 people accessing the app at the same time doing different activities. SOX requirements including segregation of duties and evidence documentation for audit testing raised the bar to a super high level. They also guided us through the reporting process, data upload, numerous data corrections and calculations always anticipating our wishes. Also they have worked with several spreadsheets in Portuguese and were able to take that in and still work like they were in English. My company tasked me with managing a migration from a very elaborate MS Excel spreadsheet that I created, into Quick Base. Having gone all the way back to dBase 4 programming and later MS Access, I know the value of a database over a spreadsheet. While I had given birth to my baby and nurtured over the course of about a year, I knew that I had to let it go and move on. I am now the proud parent of new baby Quick Base database. The VeilSun crew were absolutely amazing at forming and creating the Quick Base file based on the Excel file that I gave them. Over the course of the project, they were utterly patient and accommodating at doing everything possible to make Quick Base fulfill our needs. Not being familiar with Quick Base, I wasnt sure whats its capabilities were, but we now have our Instructor Qualification Matrix nearly completely converted. As I went through the process of uploading the information, there were a myriad of tweaks and changes that needed to be done. There were times during our Zoom sessions that the team were making changes literally while I was talking to them. Not once did I ever feel that they were annoyed, or that they were trying to take an approach that would be easier for them. Customer service was paramount. It clearly showed during every communication with VeilSun! They educated me as to how I could be able to manage the Quick Base myself and be able to make changes, based on my previous database experience. There were times when I screwed up some of the filters and couldnt figure out what I did or how to fix it. They created several short videos of the screen to show me, so that I could watch them when it was convenient for me. I also appreciated thatwhile I dont have Quick Base experienceI do have database experience and was able to speak enough lingo that they picked-up on my experience and could communicate to me at my level rather than communicating with me above or below my technical level. That really helped the efficiency at which we were able to communicate and accomplish the goal. For people whom I have never met, I feel like I would really enjoy working with them! They are mission oriented, calm and patient. Those characteristics go a loooong way! You have the right person in the right position, and I hope thatif Ben isnt alreadyhe quickly is placed in a position where he is training others.

We are proud to be clients of VeilSun. We began with the company in 2015 who took our multiple spreadsheets and chaos and provided us a streamlined solution which enabled us to cancel subscriptions for time keeping services and have a one stop location for all of our information. They gave us a tool that would provide project management and time tracking with all the bells and whistles, including cost analysis. We also desperately needed task management and categorization of tasks for reporting purposes. Even though GCI made a bonehead decision to try someone else who said they could do the same work for less than half of the costs, VeilSun welcomed us back with open arms when we realized the value of your team. Quick Base has been our one and only data base for our company. Prior to discovering Quick Base we were all paper with the world's largest spread sheet. We discovered Quick Base in 2012 and we have only known the capabilities that we originally discovered 6 years ago. Last year we had searched for an educational software to replace Quick Base. One of the most valuable things a charity can receive is a gift in kind. Last month, a company called Veilsun, Inc gave us a gift that transformed the way measure the progress of our beneficiaries. By developing a tailored customer relationship management database for us, our method for capturing and accessing essential data about our beneficiaries has been revolutionized. Instead of poring over complicated databases for hours, we can now monitor change and create reports with the click of a button. This helps us easily measure the progress of the young people in our vocational training programme in Sierra Leone, and allows us to report back to donors more effectively. When we first enquired about creating such a system with VeilSun, we spoke to their Managing Partner James Cosman. Completely unexpectedly, James offered to create the database for us at a fraction of the cost that it should have been. We had been using a creaky old excel database with complicated formula and were in need of up-scaling our data collection capacity. Having researched we realized our budget was very tight. Veilsun reviewed the task and broke it down accurately. They were quick to understand what I wanted, even when I struggled to explain. I worked directly with Deidre Nelson on developing a Quick Base project tracker process. The project took several months to complete. Professional, Competent, Responsive
As it may happen to many of us from time to time, I recently found myself faced with a fast approaching customer-driven deadline. Although, I have a lot of experience with database tools, Quickbase was new to me and my team. Still, I was able to do a lot with it quickly. Eventually, I hit a few roadblocks. Intuit's own support resources were willing but eventually even they acknowledged their limitations. So who did they direct us to? They shared a list of partners and some how we ended up with Veilsun! Thank God. The guys jumped in right away and looked into my app. Although committed to other projects, they worked after hours discussing my project with me, learning about my goals and challenges. I received technical and design guidance. They never tried to sell me on their stuff; but, I did learn about some of the helpful solutions that Veilsun developed themselves. One in particular, could really help our users see and manage data in a very practical and intuitive fashion. After this experience, it became obvious that I found _the_ Quick Base resource that we would turn to if and when we were to reach our own technical or resource limitations or when preparing our "next big thing." It's important to note, that if you have the time, the value of their contribution would be greater, the earlier they are involved in the process. I only we wished we could have started with them sooner. So, why do I give them only 4 stars? I'm a tough critic and the rating system won't let me give them a 4.5. Like any organization they have their limits too and couldn't commit to doing more of the actual work on my solution immediately. There were others in line ahead of me. That was absolutely fair but I couldn't actually judge their work on my solution. Nevertheless, I really appreciate what they did. Thanks Guys.

Incredible Partners!!!
I am working on building a CRM application tool for a specific segment of our business, and like some others out there, I jumped in head first before knowing about the AWESOME Quick Base partner support program. After SEVERAL support attempts with the QuickBase support team (all of which were successful but very piecemeal), it was evident that I lacked the developed skills needed to go forward with the application and we decided it would be best to try to partner me up with one of their partners to support the development of the application I had started. Quick Base managers jumped to the rescue and partnered me up with what has to be the BEST Quick Base partner available...VeilSun. Initial Interaction: Pressing the Quick Base support team, I was two days out from a huge demo meeting with my sales directors to pass a gate review for moving forward with the application. It truly lacked the functional reporting and depth that I needed to have to prove this tool had the potential to do everything they were looking for and more. That's when Quick Base introduced me to Rich Crum and the VeilSun team. They are without a doubt the most capable and patient company to work with and they make you feel very reassured each step along the way. Rich quickly involved Thomas Meric to help me pull the data I had started into some informational dashboards at multiple views and roles. Result: My sales directors were absolutely pleased with what they saw in the demo....all thanks to Thomas, and they are letting me move forward with further development of the application to ensure it is robust and functional enough moving forward. Compliance Program Software
We engaged VeilSun to develop proprietary compliance process management software using the Intuit Quick Base platform. At first we were concerned that the one person sent onsite would take forever to complete our basic software platform. However, our concerns were unfounded -- after three days of onsite work, the consultant left us with an excellent package to start with. Way more than we expected and way more value than can be achieved elsewhere. I would definitely recommend VeilSun and their staff to other organizations with process, control or data management challenges-- so much so that I've engaged VeilSun at a different company.

Michael is a Lifesaver!
Michael came out to run through some errors we were having with our 2 systems integrating. He was very patient through all of my questions and really took the time to explain each individual step in resolving the error. Rich & Thomas at VeilSun, Inc have been a tremendous help customizing my app. I started putting it together on my own, with some help from the Quick Base support, but ultimately ran into roadblocks on progressing the app further. Even though our initial meeting was blind (no screen share since qb was down), they knew exactly what I was trying to accomplish and had a plan before diving into the app. Thomas has done an EXCEPTIONAL job understanding the various workflows of my organization and put it all together in a short block of time.
