Cambridge, Mass. – October 26, 2018 – Quick Base’s Jay Jamison was recognized as the 2018 Best Tech Manager at Boston’s Fourth Annual Timmy Awards. Jamison was selected as the winner from a field of 10 finalists by a panel of expert judges and through community voting. He was awarded the trophy at a reception including 200 tech enthusiasts, executives and entrepreneurs held on October 24.
“Jay Jamison was awarded Tech in Motion Boston’s Best Tech Manager because he is seen by his team and peers as a leader who goes beyond the necessary duties of his role to empower his team,” said Mandy Walker, Director of Marketing at Tech in Motion and Motion Recruitment Partners. “We look forward to seeing continued growth and impact from his efforts as a leader in Boston’s tech space.”
Jamison joined Quick Base in September 2017 as Vice President of Strategy and Product Management. He has two decades of experience in the technology industry with a focus on high-growth markets. Prior to his work at Quick Base, Jamison held leadership positions at enterprises such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Microsoft. Most recently, he was the Vice President of Strategy for HPE’s Software Defined and Cloud group.
“I believe deeply in Quick Base’s mission to help our thousands of customers build custom software solutions without the complexity and cost traditionally associated with custom software,” said Jamison. “I’m honored to receive this award and look forward to many more successful years helping to build and grow Quick Base’s world-class tech team in Boston.”
