Quickbase Opens New Office in Salt Lake City

Company Expands to Accommodate Accelerated Adoption of its Business Application Building Platform

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. and SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 30, 2019 Silicon Slopes Tech Summit, Booth #B57 -- Quickbase, the leading SaaS platform for building powerful, integrated, customized business applications, today announced it has opened its second location in Salt Lake City. The westward expansion caps off a strong year of growth for the Massachusetts-based company following an announcement earlier this month that Vista Equity Partners has purchased a majority stake in the company.

"Salt Lake City has become a vibrant technology hub with an impressive pool of talent, which made it an obvious choice as we looked for locations for our second office," said Rick Willett, Quickbase CEO. "As companies across every industry continue to empower their employees with our application-building platform, we have added enhanced security and mobile access to Quickbase. Our new location in Salt Lake City, an increase in our headcount, will help us to further serve our customers across the U.S."

Quickbase enjoyed strong growth in 2018 fueled by increased adoption of its application-building platform. The Quickbase platform allows users to escape the confines of one-size-fits-all tools to build applications that help them perform their jobs better and more efficiently. Builders don't need knowledge of code or other IT skills to build the apps they need to become more productive.

Quickbase will participate in the Silicon Slopes Tech Summit (Booth #B57), at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center Jan 31 - Feb 1 and is the exclusive sponsor of SlopesFEST'19 on Jan 31 featuring The Aces, The National Parks, DJ Dolph and The Strike.

Avison Young represented Quickbase in the real estate transaction.
