Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control is a critical element of any safety and health program. It is the proactive, continuous identification, assessment, and communication of hazards to prevent or control workplace injuries, illnesses, and incidents. A risk management approach involves identification and assessment of risks followed by elimination of risks or minimizing those risks so far as reasonably practicable.
