Quickbase Expands Senior Leadership Team and Appoints Steve Webber as Chief Financial Officer

Rebecca Castoldi elevated to general counsel; low-code company ushers in next phase of strategy and growth

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., October 20, 2020 - Quickbase — a leading application development platform that helps businesses achieve operational agility — today announced new additions to the company’s senior leadership team, including the appointment of Steve Webber as chief financial officer and Rebecca Castoldi as general counsel. These appointments will strengthen the company’s senior leadership team and build upon recent accelerated growth.

“This is an exciting time to join Quickbase, not only because it’s a high-growth company that’s demonstrated strong financial performance during a global pandemic, but especially because of the company’s dedication to helping customers creatively navigate business transformation amidst a year of uncertainty,” Webber said. “As Quickbase continues to differentiate itself as a leader in an emerging market, truly driving operational agility within digital transformation initiatives, a key part of my role will be furthering the company’s best-in-class approach to growth, earnings and cash flow, while accelerating business development and revenue performance."

Webber brings more than 25 years of financial management and executive leadership experience to this role, where he will oversee financial planning and analysis, controllership and business partnering. Before joining Quickbase, he held a number of financial and operations leadership roles with technology companies, both public and private, and has a proven track record driving growth. Most recently, he served as CFO of Carbon Black, a cybersecurity company that develops cloud-native endpoint security software. He also worked as chief operating officer and CFO at Syniti (formally BackOffice Associates) and CFO at Cynosure. Prior to those roles, Webber had a 19-year tenure at EMC Corporation, where he served as senior vice president and CFO of Virtustream, a $450 million stand-alone SaaS subsidiary. Webber’s extensive SaaS experience will help usher Quickbase into the next phase of becoming the leading company in the market.

Also joining the company’s senior leadership team, Rebecca Castoldi will move from deputy general counsel to assume the position of general counsel. Castoldi has more than 15 years experience working with technology companies and served the last two and a half years as deputy general counsel at Quickbase. Castoldi will be responsible for managing the legal function, advising on company strategies and overseeing the work of outside counsel, as well as providing strategic oversight of customer growth. She is uniquely positioned to continue partnering with our sales teams to help Quickbase build lasting, growing customer relationships.
