Shop Floor Management System (SFMS) is the digital command center from which all activities related to the availability of people, productivity reporting, job skills training and assignments. SFMS also includes process auditing, 5S checklists and workflows, the ability to track and manage suggestions, scrap and offline repair of WIP (work in progress) SFMS manages and visualizes mismatching job assignments with production operator skills to minimize human error due to lack of knowledge. In addition, SFMS enables proper vacation scheduling and forecasting to mitigate missing skills when an operator is absent.
