Challenges Before Quickbase

Before adopting Quickbase, SGNS struggled with fragmented processes and a lack of cohesive tools. "We had many different people owning various processes, all doing things their own way. There was no overall governance, and we spent a lot of time merging work from different sources," recalls Chris Harper, VP of Operations. The reliance on spreadsheets and disparate online tools like Google Sheets and Smartsheet made it difficult to get a holistic view of projects, from planning to financial closeout.

"I had used Quickbase at a former employer and knew its potential. When I joined SGNS, I saw the opportunity to implement it company-wide as a CRM and project management tool," he says.
