Former Hewlett Packard Enterprise Vice President of Strategy Joins Quickbase Leadership Team

Jay Jamison to lead the product vision and roadmap for Quickbase

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., September 19, 2017Quickbase, the platform for app-enabled business, today announced the addition of Jay Jamison to its senior leadership team as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Product Management. In this role, effective immediately, Jamison will drive the overall product strategy and roadmap for the business.

Jamison brings nearly 20 years technology industry experience to Quickbase with a focus on high-growth markets. As a proven product and strategy leader, he has developed product roadmaps tailored to meet the needs of customers of all sizes — from small businesses to the world’s largest enterprises. His career includes leadership roles at Fortune 50 enterprises such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and Microsoft, as well as experience founding and investing in several high-growth startups.

Most recently, Jamison served as Vice President of Strategy for HPE’s Software Defined and Cloud group where he was responsible for the overall business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, as well as partnerships for the organization. Previously, he led product marketing for HPE Cloud and served as a Director of Product Management for the business. Prior to HPE, Jamison was a partner at BlueRun Ventures where he led several successful investments including AppCentral, later acquired by Good Technology, and Foodspotting, acquired by OpenTable. He also co-founded and served as CEO of Moonshoot, Inc., which merged with Global Education Learning Limited. Jamison started his career at Microsoft where he held several product management leadership roles and led the Windows business in Japan.
