With organizations starting to figure out their post-pandemic cultures and workplace norms, a company culture built on trust and respect is becoming just as important as ever. After more than a year of working from home and “homing from work,” people are thinking differently about how they want to work long-term. We’re likely never going to go back to the pre-pandemic way of working in the office, so ensuring that your culture is strong both in the office and remotely will be a major point of success as we look to the future. That is why we are so excited to be named one of Comparably’s Best Places to Work in Boston for Q1 2021. Not only does this award affirm that we are on the right track at meeting our employees’ needs but also reinforces all the exciting things we have to look forward to.

Affirming our values

Being named a Best Place to Work by Comparably is a great marker that we are living our values out as an organization:

  • We Win Together: Focusing on team results, championing each other’s success with respect and candor
  • We Take Ownership: Being accountable to each other, taking initiative and following through
  • We Improve Every Day: Seeking to solve problems, embracing change, iterating, and always getting better

From our leadership, compensation, benefits, work-life balance, and corporate responsibility, there’s a lot that goes into creating a company culture employees are proud of. This also includes continuing to advance our diversity goals and initiatives to become the most inclusive company in software. As our employees have been sharing on our social media channels over the last few months with our Raising More Voices campaign, there is a lot of work we as organizations and individuals can do to close the opportunity gap for underrepresented communities in technology.

Preparing our new Headquarters

We are also looking forward to getting back to seeing many of our colleagues in person, as we recently announced our upcoming late summer move to new headquarters in downtown Boston. Located right on the Fort Point Channel, our new headquarters marks an exciting moment in our growth and an opportunity to create a flexible workspace designed for the world of hybrid work. This new office will give us a centrally located and engaging space that we are very excited about. This will build in the adaptability that businesses have quickly learned is going to be critical going forward for cultures that equitably support both office and remote work.

Growing our team

With over 170 new hires since the beginning of 2020, our team is continuing to grow. While we still work every day to exemplify our values and serve our customers, we are always looking to bring new people and perspectives onto our growing teams. But this goes beyond geography – we are dedicated to hiring the best and most diverse talent and our flexibility-first work model support this. With this Comparably award, we hope to keep moving with our positive momentum and continue to Win Together.
