Quickbase Announces 2026 Empower Customer Award Winners Driving Operational Impact

Winners from Alaska Airlines, Tractor Supply, RCP, Mintz, Kin Home, and City of Newark were recognized at Empower 2026 for advancing more connected operations

BOSTON, MA — May 29, 2026 —Quickbase, the AI operations platform, has announced the six winners of the 2026 Empower Customer Awards, recognizing excellence across six categories. The winners used Quickbase to modernize operations, connect people, systems and data, and drove measurable impact across their organizations.

Selected from Quickbase's global customer community of more than 10,000 organizations, and a pool of 18 finalists, this year's award winners were announced live at Empower 26 on May 20, 2026. Empower, Quickbase's annual customer conference, brought together more than 1,000 customers, partners, and Qrew community members to share ideas, best practices, and new approaches.

"Congratulations to this year's incredible Empower Customer Award winners - and to all of the Quickbase builders, teams, and organizations that are turning operational complexity into real-world impact," said Kelly Hall, Chief Customer Officer at Quickbase. "I'm constantly inspired by our Quickbase customers. Every day, they find new ways to improve how work gets done and, in doing so, they make worksites safer, help residents find shelter faster, spot potential issues sooner, and improve the lives of the people they serve."

Quickbase's 2026 Empower Customer Award Winners include:

Operational Impact Award Winner: Tractor Supply Company
The IT and retail operations teams at Tractor Supply Company built a Quickbase operational control center that supports 2,000+ stores, 16 production apps, and 150+ integrations and automations. A team of five now manages thousands of deployments and more than 1.2 million data interactions, improving coordination across teams and partners, strengthening governance, and saving more than $100,000 annually.

Innovation in Operations Award Winner: RCP
A five-person team at RCP introduced continuous operational orchestration to their organization: a model where data, workflows, and decisions are tightly integrated across every function and move together in real time. Built on Quickbase, the platform enables business users to adapt processes without waiting on IT and moves work forward automatically, eliminating delays between insight and execution.

Mission Impact Award Winner: City of Newark
The City of Newark made it easier for residents to access essential services by building one shared, real-time system for homeless placement, shelter access, procurement, and transportation regulation. City teams and nonprofit partners now have live visibility into shelter beds, resources, and demand, helping residents get services and support faster and more reliably.

Transformation Leader of the Year Winner: Tom Allen, Managing Director, Quality Systems, Alaska Airlines
Tom Allen helped drive digital transformation at Alaska Airlines by moving maintenance, engineering, and quality teams from spreadsheets, emails, paper processes, and disconnected tools to a more connected way of working with Quickbase. Nick Thomas built a centralized Quickbase operating system that connects Kin Home's entire solar project lifecycle. With automated workflows, clear ownership, and real-time visibility into pipeline health, install forecasts, and funding timelines, Kin Home increased their internal productivity by 35% and saw faster project turnaround times, stronger SLA adherence across design, permitting, and installation, and $500,000 in cost savings.

Qrew Legend Award Winner: Tammie King, Systems Analyst - Financial Systems, Mintz
