Quickbase’s Qrew Legend Award: Meet the Finalists

The Qrew Legend Award is given to a member who consistently supports and strengthens the Qrew. They share what they know, help others solve problems, and make the community more useful for everyone.

This year's finalists each bring something different, but all three have made a lasting impact on the Qrew.

Tammie King, Mintz

Tammie King has led the Boston Qrew since the beginning. She organizes monthly meetups, works closely with Quickbase team members, and has built a community people can rely on.

What sets her apart is consistency. The Boston Qrew isn't a one-off event series. She has created a dependable space where Quickbase users collaborate, ask questions, and get support from others who understand the platform and the problems they're trying to solve. People don't have to figure things out alone. She also brings together people with a mix of experience levels. Advanced users and newer builders learn from each other in the same room, which creates the kind of practical problem-solving that makes a community valuable.

One example people still repeat: her reminder to add a filter when testing a Pipeline so it doesn't run amok. It's a small detail, but the fact that people remember it says a lot about her influence. And it reflects something bigger: how she helps people learn from one another in ways that lead to better ideas and more confidence using Quickbase.

Wes McAda, Albertsons

Wes McAda shows up across the Qrew -- and contributes wherever he does. He joins virtual meetups, speaks at sessions, participates in Discord, takes part in beta programs, and has helped shape the community blog format.

What stands out is how he shares what he knows. He helps others extend what Quickbase can do, especially with Code Pages and Pipelines, and brings a practical approach to using AI. He uses it to get ideas out of his head and onto the screen quickly, then applies his own judgement and expertise to refine the result.

It's a practical, builder-friendly way to work: use the tools, but keep the thinking with the person using them. And that same approach carries through in every session and conversation he's part of.

Nichole Braswell, Pike Corporation

Nichole Braswell contributes consistently across Qrew sessions by asking thoughtful questions, sharing resources, and offering solutions that help others move forward.

She plays a key role in how discussions unfold. Active in chat and comfortable speaking up, she helps create an open environment where others are more likely to participate. Her feedback has also helped improve Qrew agendas, making sessions more focused and useful. She's known for sharing practical ideas people can actually use. One example: color-code formulas for gradient-style buttons, tables, and forms -- small techniques that others in the Qrew have adopted.

Nichole's impact is in how she keeps the community active and useful. Conversations turn into real exchanges where people leave with ideas they can apply.

What Sets These Contributors Apart

Different approaches. The same kind of impact.

Tammie built and sustained a local community. Wes shares expertise across multiple channels. Nichole keeps the conversation active, useful, and worth showing up for.

They don't just participate in the Qrew. They mentor, lead, and contribute in ways that strengthen the entire Quickbase ecosystem. Tammie King, Wes McAda, and Nichole Braswell are this year's finalists for the Qrew Legend Award. The winner will be announced live during the Day 2 keynote on May 20 at Empower 2026 in Houston, TX.
