The goal for Empower has always been to unite Quickbase users with the people, tools, and information they need to maximize success. The conference is designed to ensure that attendees improve their skills and leave with lots of new ideas they can implement with confidence.

But don’t take our word for it! We checked in with a some past Empower attendees to see what they learned and what they found most valuable.

Overall

“The education, the networking opportunities, and the synergy that takes place in a few short days can re-energize a company to continue to change with their market and stay in line with the digital world we live in.”

– Matthew Briant, Operations Manager, National Tax Credit, Empower 2016 Attendee

Sessions

Over 2.5 days, we’ll be offering 48 unique sessions at Empower 2017, presented by Quickbase staff, customers and partners at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

Three session tracks offer content that will enhance your app building skills, provide guides for thinking through your business processes, and demonstrate how Quickbase can compel organizational transformation.

The “How To” in Quickbase track will include deep dives into the product and explore core features, non-native possibilities and integration.

“Even as someone who uses Quickbase in my daily job, I still picked up some new ideas that I didn’t know were available, like the multi select text field.”

– Alan Dunagan, Business Analyst, Continental Building Products, Empower 2016 Attendee

The Optimizing Your Process track will focus on best practices for establishing a streamlined, problem-solving environment with Quickbase.

“You gain insight into not only the technical components – but also the many clever approaches and pathways to the best solutions.”

– Gerry Daney, IT Manager, Paradise Energy Solutions, Empower 2016 Attendee

The Transforming Your Organization track will help you think through management of your digital operations enterprise, large-scale deployment of Quickbase, and provide use case examples of significant ROI.

“My company’s use of Quickbase has grown by leaps and bounds, and I received the advice that I needed to help my app grow with my company.”

– Kelly Hayes, Administrative Supervisor – Operations, CCI Systems , Empower 2016 Attendee

Exhibit Hall

With over nine hours of scheduled Exhibit Hall activities, we hope our Empower 2017 attendees take the time to talk to our sponsors, network with their peers, and interact with the Quickbase staff. You may come to Empower looking to solve a specific issue, or have certain skills you want to improve, but you never know where you might find a new solution or way of thinking about a problem.

“You will learn things from peers that you can’t get from a website.”

– Joseph Gill, Manager, Business Reports and Analytics, Turtle and Hughes Integrated Supply, Empower 2016 Attendee

Tech Bar

The EMPOWER TechBar offers the chance to schedule a 30-minute session with a Quickbase expert. Secure your spot by scheduling an appointment when you get onsite. You’ll have the chance to walk through your app with a Quickbase CARE representative and get answers to specific questions.

The ability to work one-on-one with some of the Quickbase staff is wonderful and more productive than over email.”

– Joe Lichtefeld, VP of Application Services, ResCare, Empower 2016 Attendee

Sponsors

Over 20 sponsors will be exhibiting at Empower. These developers are experts at building complex apps and extending Quickbase. Even if you have a simple app that works just fine or the in-house technical resources to manage sophisticated apps, talking with our sponsors is a chance to see what’s possible.

“I realized that networking wasn’t just to get to know people who could specifically help our business advance. It was to get to know people that help open each other’s brains to new ideas – concepts – practices – vistas. “

– Beth Hilleke, Information Content, Design, and Delivery, Vision Software Solutions, Empower 2016 attendee

Demo Theater

The 15-minute Demo Theater presentations offer a quick snap-shot of Quickbase features, functions, and non-native capabilities, presented by our sponsors. And this year we’ll be holding the final round of App-a-thon judging at the Demo Theater during Tuesday night’s Networking Event. Grab a glass of wine and some appetizers, and come on down!

“The Demo Theater sessions in the Exhibit Hall were great! We came away with some ideas of how to connect additional apps to Quickbase.”

– Linda Floyd, Director of Operations, Specialty Pharmacy Management, Empower 2016 Attendee
