At its inaugural customer conference, EMPOWER 2015, Intuit QuickBase announced customer awards in five categories. These customers represent the best attributes of the QuickBase customer — highly empowered, resourceful teams that drive enormous digital transformation efficiency within their companies.
The awards were presented by Karen Devine, Marketing and Channels Leader, Intuit QuickBase, and Steven Percoco, Sales and Care Leader, Intuit QuickBase.
Presented to the small business or nonprofit (fewer than 100 employees) that best showcases innovation and growth with QuickBase.
The winner of the 2015 Intuit QuickBase Small Business Award is Cyril’s Bakery. Cyril’s has developed an innovative approach to serving large customers in a highly competitive industry, managing purchasing, inventory, logistics, pricing, and more with QuickBase.
Presented to the company that demonstrates the most innovative use of QuickBase to drive business forward.
The winner of the 2015 Intuit QuickBase Innovation Award is EMC. The company manages complex pre-sales projects at its BRS Integration lab with QuickBase, driving efficient service deployment and reporting into its contributions to the business.
Presented to the company that realized the greatest transformational benefit from using QuickBase.
The winner of the 2015 Intuit QuickBase Transformation Award is Norwegian Cruise Line. NCL replaced over 1,000 spreadsheets while driving real-time tracking and management of more than 30 key onboard processes with QuickBase.
Presented to the individual who best exemplifies the excellence of the QuickBase customer base by turning opportunity into innovation.
The winner of the 2015 Intuit QuickBase Hero Award is Rick Suttles, Strategic Projects Coordinator at Sigma Technologies. Rick is a master at finding new uses for QuickBase as a platform, using it to help his company scale its infrastructure to support fast growth.
Other finalists in this category include Kenn Busse, IT Director at Fossil, Jacob MacIntyre, Analyst at Portland General Electric, and Ed Zacchini, Senior Global Manager at EMC.
Presented to the individual who best embodies the spirit of the QuickBase community.
The winner of the 2015 Intuit QuickBase Community Contribution Award is Patti Dornacker, Senior Applications Analyst at Ministry Health Care. Patti has been a team player from the beginning of her time as a QuickBase builder, contributing the most downloaded and best reviewed apps on the Exchange, and volunteering her time with our product teams to help us see QuickBase through the eyes of the customer.
