Women’s Breakfast
Did you know that almost half of Quickbase builders are women? Today we hosted the second annual Women’s Leadership Breakfast, where Empower attendees got together before the start of sessions for an opportunity to gain career insights, network with their Quickbase peers and take a moment to recognize their own successes!
This year’s speaker was Julian Guthrie, a best-selling author, keynote speaker and journalist. We certainly left feeling empowered and inspired!
Product Keynote
Jay Jamison, SVP of Strategy & Product Management, delivered this year’s product keynote. Attendees got a view of our 2019 roadmap, and heard about newly released features and those coming soon that deliver on Quickbase’s commitment to Power, Trust and Simplicity.
Jay was joined by several speakers onstage, sharing how recent and upcoming product enhancements have made significant impacts on their ability to make change. Customers included: Southwest Airlines, Zimmer Biomet, Able Services, and DXC. Thanks for sharing the amazing things you’re doing with Quickbase! Watch the product keynote here.
Offsite Party
Things got a little wild at the Offsite Party… and we mean literally. Did you hang out with the gators, snakes, and birds on the Everglades floor? The offsite party, held in the historic Moore Building, had a different theme on each floor – Ocean Drive, Little Havana, Wynwood, and the Everglades. If the animals weren’t enough for you, maybe you made some art with your brainwaves, enjoyed a mojito during a tarot card reading, or snapped a selfie with Pitbull and J Lo.
There were some exciting announcements during the offsite party:
- The Scavenger Hunt grand prize winner was revealed!
- We announced the Empower 2020 location. Get ready for #QBEmpower2020 in San Diego, California!
- We found out who won the App-a-thon! Congratulations to the top 3 teams!
