We are excited that not one, but two, QuickBase users from Zimmer Biomet, a global leader in musculoskeletal healthcare, will be attending EMPOWER 2016 and leading a session together.
Zach Frank, R&D Manager, and Paul Powell, Inventory Analyst, will share how business process workflows were transformed with QuickBase.
“Many of our business processes have increased in volume,” Zach explains. “One process in particular saw volume growth by 30% since when we implemented QuickBase, without the need to add additional human resources.” Prior to the QuickBase deployment, that process was close to maximum capacity with little ability for growth.
In their EMPOWER 2016 session, “A Field Guide to QuickBase as a Platform for Digital Transformation,” Zach and Paul will explore how to analyze your business processes, determine the right QuickBase migration approach, find the balance between QuickBase and existing IT infrastructure, how to architect platform applications, and practical tips the team learned along their journey.
“Dashboards are extremely powerful when strategically configured,” Zach offers as an example of a favorite QuickBase feature.
“Whenever we encounter a logistical problem, the response is ‘QuickBase can probably take care of that,’” Paul adds.
Zach and Paul are looking forward to sharing their story, networking, and leaving the conference with new ideas to take their QuickBase applications to the next level. They plan to attend “5 Amazing Widgets You Didn’t Know You Could Create with QuickBase” and “Conjuring Magic Buttons and Formulas with the QuickBase API.”
“Because,” Paul says, echoing the sentiments of many other QuickBase users, “we always enjoy seeing what tips and tricks Kirk Trachy has up his sleeve.”
