QuickBase is proud to announce the winners of the 2016 QuickBase Customer Awards, which were presented today live on stage at EMPOWER 2016 in Nashville, TN. These organizations and individuals represent the best of the QuickBase community — empowered, resourceful, and highly innovative.

Winners were announced in five categories:

Innovation Award

Winner: ResCare

ResCare has developed several highly-innovative applications that empower service improvements to more than 60,000 people every day. These include apps for managing facilities inspections for ResCare's Residential Services group, managing Medicare and Medicaid billing and collections, and helping people get back to work through robust case management apps.

Other finalists in this category include Hilton Worldwide and Freedom Financial.

Transformation Award

Winner: Helm, Inc.

Helm, Inc. completely reinvented the way it delivers for customers by empowering citizen developers to drive the development of core business process applications in QuickBase. Five years after implementing QuickBase, Helm has eliminated thousands of spreadsheets and hundreds of thousands of emails — all while reducing pressure on the I.T. team to deliver applications to the business.

Other finalists in this category include Ceva Santé Animale and Sage Payroll Services.

Small Business Award

Winner: Legend Solar

This fast-growing solar company went from $800,000 in revenue per year to $800,000 in revenue per month, and was able to manage that rapid growth with a scalable QuickBase infrastructure. The company's apps manage a single workflow for all clients across sales, projects, and invoicing, allowing management to focus on driving new business.

Other finalists in this category include OnSource and Isola Homes.

Community Contribution Award

Winner: Mark Shnier, Your QuickBase Coach

Mark Shnier is a dedicated contributor to the QuickBase Community, answering questions almost as quickly as they are posted, and handling complicated requests with thoughtfulness and care — all for the love of QuickBase.

Other finalists in this category include Jordan Robertson, Southwest Airlines and Jim Arnette, MasTec.

Hero Award

Winner: Josh Miller, FedEx Office

Josh Miller epitomizes what a QuickBase Hero should be. Resourceful, smart, and unflinching in his efforts to drive program efficiency throughout FedEx Office. His efforts have resulted in huge benefits to the HR, Asset Management, Operations, Communications, Real Estate, Construction, and other divisions within FedEx Office.

Other finalists in this category include Michael Wacht, Helm, and Keith McRee, Geisinger Health Plan.

Congratulations to all the winners and finalists!
