Productivity is stuck — and it's worse in some industries than others.

In manufacturing, organizations are struggling to manage work on the shop floor, keep track of equipment, and find the information they need to get work done. New regulations and compliance needs require centralized data and unified project management. Unfortunately, that’s not the reality.

We surveyed almost 2000 people to get to the hear of this challenge. Our research, The Gray Work Index, found that only 11% of manufacturing professionals are “extremely confident” in their project data. At the same time, manufacturers are seeing manual work increase more than in any other industry.
