Transfer Management of an Application

If you manage an application, you can transfer management of it to another QuickBase user. The person to whom you transfer the application must be a user of that application and have the right to create applications.

Note: When you transfer management of an application, it always remains in the same billing account—even if the new manager has application creation rights within a different account. Only a billing account administrator (or someone with support-level permissions in the account) can transfer ownership. (Read about the difference between application ownership and management.)

To transfer management of an application:

  1. Open the application that you want to transfer.

  2. In the menu bar on any application page, select Customize > Application.

  3. Click the Management tab.

  4. Click Transfer Application.

  5. In the text box provided, enter the user name or email address of the QuickBase user to whom you want to transfer the application, and then click Next.

  6. Make sure the user name or email address you entered is correct for the user you want to transfer the application to, and then click Next.

  7. Click Authorize Transfer to transfer the application and send an alert to the user to whom you are transferring the application.

Note: No application transfer is complete until the user to whom you are transferring the application acts on the alert and accepts the transfer.
