Prevent Application Managers from Granting "Everyone on the Internet" Access

An expansive and outgoing Application Manager may want to share a QuickBase application with the entire Internet. When a manager does so, anyone surfing the Web can access the application without having to sign into QuickBase. If, as a Billing Account Manager, the thought of this kind of open access makes you jumpy, you'll be happy to know that you can reign in your managers by depriving them of this publication power.

To prevent an Application Manager from granting public access to a application:

  1. On your My QuickBase page, click Manage your billing account, and then click the Edit Account Properties link on the left side of the page.

  2. Turn off the Allow Public Applications checkbox, and then click Apply Changes.
