Kanban is based on 3 basic principles:
1. Visualize: Visualize the work to do. See a map of all work in all stages of completion in one place.
2. Limit Work In Progress: Limiting the number of work in progress (WIP) tasks improves focus on the highest priority work all the way through to completion.
3. Enhance workflow: When something is finished, the next highest thing from the To-Do List is moved forward. Constantly prioritizing the To-Do list is key to ensuring the team is always working on the highest value work.
