What Level of Quickbase Customer Training Should I Take?

Virtually every new skill we pick up requires some form of training. Even toasters still come with instructions! While there are plenty of resources available to customers in our KnowledgeBase, Community and through our Customer CARE team, 60% of our App Builder audience said they wanted more Training options.

For years our customers have been telling us that they wanted a well-defined learning path in order to feel confident that they are creating a well-built App. Quickbase officially launched our Customer Training Program at Empower 2016 in Nashville with Fundamental and Intermediate courses to provide that path. While many of our customers are excited, there is one question that is consistently coming up: “I’ve been using Quickbase for a while, which level of training is best fit for me?”

This question can be a challenging one. We have many customers that have been building Apps with us for years and have become very proficient with Quickbase. So far we have had over 230 customers go through Fundamentals training; many of those attendees were very experienced with Quickbase and still walked away with a lot of foundational knowledge they were unable to pick up on their own.

That being said, the last thing we want is to have a customer spend two days in training only to realize they could have skipped to the next level.

In an attempt to help our customers better self-select which training is right for them, we created a brief quiz to gauge your Quickbase knowledge. Get 7 of 10 right and hop into the express lane for Intermediate Training. Get 6 or less correct – no worries! That just means you will likely get a lot out of attending a Fundamental session.

No matter what the quiz says, we are regularly adding Training Events to our schedule (check out our list of upcoming events). These in-person and online classes provide hands-on support with a live instructor to create an interactive learning experience. If you have a team of 5 or more people that need training, you can choose to request an On-Site Training at your company’s location.

If you have any questions regarding training, please feel free to reach out to the team at [email protected].
