Last summer we announced an acquisition that allowed us to create the game changing technology, Pipelines, pre-built integration channels enabling users to quickly integrate systems, connect data streams and orchestrate automated workflows using a highly-intuitive, drag-and-drop interface.

We have rolled this technology out to thousands of our customers over the last few months—and we have watched them solve incredible business challenges in record time.

This technology allows citizen developers to connect Quickbase applications with nearly 40 third-party tools like HubSpot, Dropbox, DocuSign and Slack – all without any coding experience. Pipelines offers organizations the ability to efficiently connect a wide variety of cloud applications and on-premise systems to modernize processes and keep up with fast-changing market conditions.

Track and connect everything

Unipres, an automotive supplier that supports some of the top vehicle manufacturers worldwide, is using Pipelines to effectively manage the requirements for their different customers.

“Working with multiple manufacturers means that each time we have a new model to work on, we’re provided a different template to follow based on that manufacturer’s requirements,” said Charles Hardesty, new model manager, production engineering at Unipres. “With thousands of part numbers and multiple plant locations in North America, it is difficult to get a clear picture of how ready each plant was for production because we were relying on spreadsheets and paper to share information. By connecting the dots through Pipelines, we can better track and share requirements across locations throughout North America, helping us drive things to completion more thoroughly.”

Get to customers faster

elite | studio e, a comprehensive foodservice design, build and consulting firm, was able to reach out to customers in a matter of minutes vs. days using Pipelines.

“We have struggled with maintaining our database for email outreach—in general, we do not do a lot of mass emails, but when we do, it involves pulling together multiple spreadsheets and we end up with high bounce rates, duplicate data and other problems,” said Ivan J. Weiss, CFSP, Executive Vice President & COO of elite | studio e. “With Pipelines, we easily synced our contact database to our email marketing platform—it worked flawlessly, and we were able to share updates related to COVID-19 within 15 minutes, something that usually would have taken a few days.”

Save time and money

An integrated provider of construction, repair and engineering services for distribution and transmission powerlines and substations, recently adopted the usage of Pipelines and are seeing an increase in visibility and a 20% savings in time management through more efficient data tracking since implementation of the Quickbase new feature.

Their project intake process often times involves entering data into multiple systems, which required manual effort by teams—it meant a lot of redundant data entry. Using Pipelines, they were able to remove the duplicative steps and efficiently enter data into other systems— seeing a 20 percent time savings in manual data entry work, start to finish, from entering the data to reviewing data accuracy. Their teams can now take on more valuable work and spend more time managing the actual projects instead of worrying about the data.
