If you want to keep your table name but show a different label the table bar, just override the table's menu heading within the its properties tab.
To change the label of a table button:
Open table properties in one of the following ways:
In the table bar on any application page, click the table you want to change. Within the menu that appears, select Customize --tablename-- Table > Properties.
In the menu bar on any application page, select Customize > Tables. Within the list on the left side of the page, click the table you want to change, and click the Properties tab.
Click Advanced Table Settings to expand the section.
Select the Show in the menu bar checkbox, and enter the label that you want to show on the table bar.
Click Save.
Note: This operation changes only the button label, nothing else. If you prefer, you can change the name of the table throughout your application. You can also hide a table from the menu bar.
