Say you've created an application, and included a special table to track your application management tasks. You don't want any other users to view this table.
No problem. You can keep this table out of sight by removing it from the QuickBase table bar.
To prevent a table from displaying in the menu bar:
Open table properties in one of the following ways:
In the table bar on any application page, click the table that you want to hide from the menu bar. Within the menu that appears, select Customize --tablename-- Table > Properties.
In the menu bar on any application page, select Customize > Tables. Within the list on the left side of the page, select the table, and then click the Properties tab.
Click Advanced Table Settings to expand the section.
Click to clear the Show in
the menu bar checkbox, and then click Save.

Tip: If you want to do a thorough job of hiding your table, exempt the table from a QuickBase Find operation. If you do so, records from your private table won't appear when your users conduct a search of your application.
