There may be times you'd like to know everywhere your application references a certain field. QuickBase makes it easy to find out what forms and reports feature a particular field.

To check field usage:

  1. In the table bar on any application page, click the table containing the field. Within the menu that appears, select Customize --tablename-- table > Fields.

  2. Locate the field you want to delete and click its name.

  3. Within the Field Properties page which displays, click the Usage tab.

    QuickBase displays a list of reports and forms in which the field appears.

Tip: You can delete a field directly from the Usage tab. To do so, click the Delete this Field button to the upper right of the usage list. (Read more about deleting a field.)
