To be able to delete an application, you must either have administrative rights to the application, or be a Billing Account Administrator for the account that contains the application.
Caution: You
cannot recover the data once the application is deleted.
To delete an application from the My QuickBase page:
Locate the application you want to delete.
Right-click the row in which
the application appears.
Note: Do NOT click the application name. Instead, click anywhere within its row.
Within the menu that appears, select Delete this application.
If you don't see this choice when you right-click, then your Application List is probably in Icons Display mode. To change this, go to the menu above the icons and a select Display > Details. If you're in Details Display and you still don't see this option, then you don't have the right to delete an application.
FAQ: QuickBase won't let me delete an application that appears on the My QuickBase list. How can I get rid of it?
You can only delete an application if you are its manager or if you're
in charge of the account to which it belongs. Just because an application
appears on your My QuickBase page doesn't mean it belongs to your account.
So how did it get there? Whenever you visit an application, it appears
on your My QuickBase page. It doesn't take much to land an application
on your My QuickBase list. For instance, if you viewed a Web page that
contains an image that's stored in an application called Pictures,
that Pictures application appears on your My QuickBase list.
Since you don't own the application, QuickBase won't let you delete it.
However, you can easily remove it from your My QuickBase page. Read
how.
To delete an application from within the application:
Open the application that you want to delete.
In the menu bar on any application page, select Customize> Application.
Click the Misc. tab.
Click Delete Application.
If you don't see this option, you don't have the right to delete an
application.
Click Yes, delete this application, and then click OK to confirm the action.
A Billing Account Administrator can delete multiple applications simultaneously.
To delete an application as a Billing Account Administrator:
On your My QuickBase page, click Manage your billing account, and then click the Applications tab.
Click the check box next to the name of each application that you want to delete, and then, on the upper right of the list, click Delete Selected.
Click Yes, delete checked application(s) to confirm the action. Otherwise, click No, cancel deletion.
