If you're creating similar forms for different roles, don't start from scratch each time. Copy the original form and change settings as desired.
To copy a form:
In the table bar on any application page, click the table whose form you want to copy. Within the menu that appears, select Customize --tablename-- table > Forms.
Copy a form in one of the following ways:
If the table has only one form associated with it, click the Create a new form button on the upper right of the tab. Then select Copy the existing form and click OK.
If the table has multiple forms associated with it, locate the form that you want to duplicate and click its Copy button.
QuickBase creates a copy which appears in the list with the name "Copy of --the name of the original form--." To change the name, click its corresponding Layout button. In the Form Builder that opens, click the Properties tab, and enter a new name in the Form Name box.
Now that you have a copy, you can change element display settings or edit form rules.
