Copy a Custom Form

If you're creating similar forms for different roles, don't start from scratch each time. Copy the original form and change settings as desired.

To copy a form:

  1. Open table forms in one of the following ways:

  2. Locate the form that you want to copy and click its Copy icon (copyicon.png).

    QuickBase creates a copy which appears in the list with the name "Copy of --the name of the original form--."

  3. To change the name, click the form. In the Form Builder that opens, click the Properties tab, and enter a new name in the Form Name box. Click Save.

Now that you have a copy, you can change element display settings or edit form rules.
