You can make changes to your personal settings at any time after you have signed in to QuickBase. You can change your personal information, choose to hide your email address behind a user name, and tell QuickBase how to display certain screen elements.
Note: Users control their own accounts. In other words, only a user can change his or her own account information (like user name, email address and so on). Billing Account Administrators and Application Managers DO NOT control user account information.
To make changes to your user profile:
On the upper right of any application page, click your name.
Within the menu that displays, select Edit User Profile.

If you click Edit User Information on the User Profile page, you can:
Change your email address. After you do so, QuickBase sends messages to the new address you enter.
Change your first or last name.
Change or create your user name. You can create a user name when you first register with QuickBase, or you can add one here on the User Profile page at any time. A user name lets you create multiple user accounts and log in as more than one user, while still using the same email address. This feature also lets you hide your email address from other users.
Hide your email address. When you create a user name, QuickBase hides your email address from other users. For example, if someone searches for your name within the User Picker, they'd see only your first and last name and user name. QuickBase displays the word private instead of your email address.
If you click Edit User Preferences, you can:
Change the Edit
and View icons that appear in application reports. When
you display a report, you'll see small buttons that say
and
next to each record.
If you don't want that text cluttering up your report, you can
use this feature to change these buttons into small icons. Within
the Icon section of the User Preferences dialog box, click the
Small radio button. When you do so, the Edit
button in your reports changes to a small
button and View also appears as a
miniature abbreviation
of itself.
Hide the "New" and "Updated" flags for all your applications. This feature hides the flags only for you. Other QuickBase users will see the flags based on their personal settings, unless an application administrator has chosen to hide those flags.
Click Edit Contact Preferences to update your QuickBase communication preferences.
Make the necessary changes, and then click Save Changes. If you decide not to make any changes, click Cancel.
