How do you prevent the "Choose new owner" option from appearing?

For accountability purposes, I want to prevent my users from using this option of choosing a new owner. How do I do that?

Hi Surya, There are a couple of ways to tackle this problem. You can hide the built in fields (Record Owner is one of them) from view on a form. Create a Custom Form You could not grant a role the permission to edit records in that table. Set Up Access Permissions You could set up a notification to be sent to you every time someone changes the Record Owner field. About Record Change Notifications However, within the field level permissions for a role, you cannot adjust the field level permissions to built in fields, such as Record Owner.
