QuickBase includes a lot of detail in its URLs, which you can take advantage of when building formulas or external API functionality. For example, let’s consider a URL a user might see when viewing a report:

Yes you can! You can create a formula text field that will display the value you want to see on the calendar as well as showing a color. In other words, if you want to see the Status of a record in red on your calendar, you could create a formula text field that displays the value from the field Status and is colored red.

This Alert indicates that a table in your application has almost reached its storage limit size. In order to keep the "quick" in QuickBase, tables have a maximum size limit. When this limit is reached, users are prevented from adding new records.

To see how close you are, you can check your application's statistics:

You can limit a report to only show the top 5 records by adding this string to the end of the URL you see while viewing the report.

> &qskip=0&qrppg=5

You can replace 5 with another number to return a different amount of records. Be aware this will only work for table reports.

To maintain rapid application response time, QuickBase does not allow an import of more than 10,000 records containing a User field. (If you're unfamiliar with User fields, please review this help topic.)

The 10,000 record import limit only applies to records containing a User field.

If you can no longer see detail records in a report that you've embedded on a master form, someone has changed the Filtering (matching criteria) for that report.

In the July 2011 release, we introduced a QuickBase feature called Copy Master and Detail Records. Use this feature to add a button to a master table that either copies the master record with its detail records, or imports a set of detail records into a different master record. QuickBase maintains relationships and dependencies when copying or importing the records.
